About Trimi Health

We're a US-based online telehealth clinic specializing in physician-guided GLP-1 weight-loss treatment. Compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide, prescribed by board-certified providers, shipped to your door — without insurance, without membership fees, and without the brand-name premium.

    Who we are

Trimi Health was built on a single question: Why does effective, evidence-based weight-loss medication cost ten times more than it has to?

The answer is structural. Brand-name GLP-1 medications — Wegovy, Ozempic, Mounjaro, Zepbound — carry list prices above $1,000 per month largely because of consumer marketing budgets, distributor markups, and the recoupment of original drug-development costs. The active molecule itself is widely available to FDA-regulated compounding pharmacies that operate under Sections 503A and 503B of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act. When a provider works directly with those pharmacies, the same medication can be dispensed at a small fraction of the brand-name cost — without skipping any of the clinical oversight that makes the treatment safe and appropriate.

That's the model Trimi runs. Patients complete a confidential online health assessment. A board-certified physician licensed in the patient's state reviews the assessment, evaluates eligibility against published clinical criteria, and, if appropriate, prescribes either compounded semaglutide ($99/month) or compounded tirzepatide ($125/month). The prescription is filled by a licensed compounding pharmacy and shipped directly to the patient's door, with cold-chain packaging and free expedited delivery. There is no membership fee, no enrollment fee, and no obligation to continue beyond the current month.

Today, more than 14,000 patients manage their GLP-1 treatment through Trimi. Our published clinical content library exceeds 7,700 medically reviewed articles, designed to help patients understand the evidence behind GLP-1 medications, the trade-offs between semaglutide and tirzepatide, the realistic timeline of weight loss, and the full set of side effects to watch for.

    Our mission

Make proven prescription weight-loss treatment medically rigorous, genuinely affordable, and logistically simple — for any adult who qualifies clinically, regardless of whether they have insurance.

    Safe and regulated

Every prescription is reviewed by a board-certified physician licensed in the patient's state. Medications are prepared in FDA-regulated 503A or 503B compounding pharmacies subject to routine inspection.

    Evidence-based

Our clinical content cites primary trials — STEP, SURMOUNT, SURPASS, SELECT — and FDA prescribing information. We publish the editorial and medical-review policies that govern how that content is produced.

    Genuinely accessible

$99 or $125 per month, flat. No insurance prerequisite, no prior authorization, no enrollment cost, no contract. If treatment isn't right, patients cancel.

    Regulatory standing and pharmacy partners

Compounded medication is sometimes confused with unregulated medication. It is not. Compounded drugs in the United States are produced under one of two FDA frameworks:

    503A pharmacies

Traditional compounding pharmacies that prepare patient-specific medications based on a prescription from a licensed practitioner. Regulated primarily at the state level by state boards of pharmacy, with FDA enforcement authority over compliance with USP standards and Section 503A of the FD&C Act.

    503B outsourcing facilities

Federally registered facilities permitted to compound larger batches without patient-specific prescriptions, subject to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) — the same quality framework that governs brand-name pharmaceutical manufacturing — and routine FDA inspection.

Trimi works exclusively with licensed compounding pharmacies that meet these standards. Each shipment includes the active ingredient (semaglutide or tirzepatide) at the prescribed dose, sterile syringes and needles, alcohol prep pads, and administration instructions. Sterility testing and potency verification are performed at the pharmacy level before any product is dispensed.

Trimi Health is also verified through LegitScript, the certification program used by Google, Meta, and other major ad networks to identify legitimate healthcare merchants and screen out illegal pharmacies. The LegitScript badge displayed on our site links to our active certification.

    The science behind our treatments

How GLP-1 medications produce weight loss — and the published evidence that supports them.

    What are GLP-1 medications?

GLP-1 (glucagon-like peptide-1) receptor agonists mimic a natural gut hormone released after meals. The hormone slows gastric emptying, reduces appetite, increases satiety, and triggers glucose-dependent insulin release. These mechanisms together reduce caloric intake and improve metabolic health.

Semaglutide acts on the GLP-1 receptor alone. Tirzepatide is a dual-agonist that additionally activates the GIP (gastric inhibitory polypeptide) receptor — a mechanism associated with the larger average weight loss observed in tirzepatide trials.

    How they work

    • • Reduce appetite and food cravings
    • • Increase satiety after smaller meals
    • • Slow gastric emptying
    • • Improve glucose-dependent insulin response
    • • Support metabolic and cardiovascular health

    Clinical evidence

    • • 15–17% average body-weight loss on semaglutide (STEP, 68 wk)
    • • 20–22.5% average loss on tirzepatide (SURMOUNT-1, 72 wk)
    • • 20% reduction in major cardiovascular events on semaglutide in overweight patients with prior CV disease (SELECT)
    • • Tens of thousands of patients across all phase-3 programs
    • • Long-term safety surveillance ongoing since 2017

    How care is delivered

    1

    Online assessment

5–10 minute health questionnaire covering medical history, current medications, and weight-related health conditions.

    Provider review

Board-certified physician licensed in your state evaluates eligibility within 24 hours. Patients in unsupported states are flagged before payment.

    3

    Pharmacy fulfillment

Approved prescription is sent to a licensed 503A or 503B compounding pharmacy. Sterility testing and potency verification before dispensing.

    4

    Free expedited delivery

Cold-chain packaging, tracking number on dispatch, typical end-to-end timeline 5–7 days from assessment to delivery.

Ongoing care, not a one-time prescription

GLP-1 treatment is most effective when managed as ongoing care, not a single prescription. Through the Trimi patient portal, patients can message their provider with questions about side effects, request dose adjustments, log progress, and pause or cancel treatment. There is no charge to message providers during an active subscription, and no charge to cancel.

    Why choose Trimi

We're built differently from a generic telehealth clinic — and from a generic weight-loss subscription.

    100% online, on your schedule

No office visits, no waiting rooms. The full assessment, provider review, and ongoing communication happen online.

    Transparent flat pricing

$99/month for compounded semaglutide, $125/month for compounded tirzepatide — at any prescribed dose. No enrollment fee, no membership, no surprise charges.

    Board-certified providers

Every prescription comes from a physician licensed in your state. Provider review within 24 hours of assessment submission.

    Ongoing patient support

Unlimited provider messaging, dose adjustments, side-effect management, and weight tracking through the patient portal — all included.

    Free expedited shipping

Cold-chain packaging, discrete unbranded boxes, and tracking. Most patients receive medication within 5–7 days of starting the assessment.

    Specialized in GLP-1 care

We don't bundle GLP-1 inside a broader sub. Specialization keeps clinical workflows tight and lets us follow the evidence as it evolves.

    Frequently asked questions

Is Trimi a legitimate medical provider?

Yes. Trimi Health is a licensed telehealth provider. Every prescription is reviewed and signed by a board-certified physician licensed in the patient's state. We follow HIPAA regulations for protected health information, and we partner exclusively with FDA-regulated 503A and 503B compounding pharmacies that are subject to routine FDA inspection. Trimi is verified through LegitScript's Healthcare Merchant Certification program.

    What medications do you offer?

Trimi offers compounded semaglutide and compounded tirzepatide — the same active ingredients used in brand-name Wegovy/Ozempic and Mounjaro/Zepbound respectively. Compounded versions are prepared by licensed US compounding pharmacies under FDA oversight. We do not currently offer brand-name versions or other classes of weight-loss medication.

What makes Trimi more affordable than other providers?

Compounded medications skip the brand-name premium associated with consumer marketing, sales force costs, and the recoupment of original R&D. Trimi offers compounded semaglutide at $99/month and compounded tirzepatide at $125/month — flat rates regardless of dose, with no subscription fee, no enrollment fee, and free shipping. Brand-name Wegovy retails near $1,349/month uninsured; Mounjaro near $1,023–$1,177/month.

Who qualifies for treatment with Trimi?

FDA prescribing guidelines for GLP-1 weight-loss medications cover adults 18 or older with a BMI of 30 or higher (obesity), or BMI of 27 or higher with at least one weight-related comorbidity (such as type 2 diabetes, hypertension, dyslipidemia, or obstructive sleep apnea). Our online assessment captures the medical history a board-certified provider needs to determine eligibility for your specific situation.

How is Trimi different from other GLP-1 telehealth clinics?

Three differences matter most. First, price — at $99/$125 monthly, Trimi consistently undercuts Hims, Ro, Found, and Sequence on published rates. Second, transparency — flat pricing with no enrollment, membership, or hidden fees, plus published editorial and medical review policies. Third, scope — we focus exclusively on GLP-1 weight management rather than packaging it inside a broader subscription, which keeps our clinical workflow specialized.

    Where is Trimi available?

Trimi operates in most US states. Each prescription is issued by a physician licensed in the patient's state of residence, so available states depend on our roster of board-certified providers. State availability is verified during the online assessment before any payment is taken — patients who live in unsupported states are not charged.

How does Trimi protect patient health data?

All patient data is handled under HIPAA. Health information is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored in HIPAA-compliant infrastructure. We do not sell patient data, and we limit the data we retain to what is required to deliver care and meet regulatory recordkeeping requirements. Patients can request access to their records or request deletion in line with HIPAA and applicable state law by contacting care@trytrimi.com.
