How to Cancel WeightWatchers: Membership and WW Clinic
How to cancel WeightWatchers through WW, Apple, or Google Play. Understand WW Clinic cancellation, commitment periods, refunds, and confirmation.

How do you cancel WeightWatchers?
Start with the company that bills you. For a direct WW membership, use the cancellation link on WW's official cancellation page. For WW Clinic, contact your Care Team or use a route listed in the Clinic agreement. For an Apple or Google Play purchase, manage that subscription with the billing platform. Keep confirmation of the end date.

First identify your plan and billing provider
Check your receipt, subscription list, and account before sending a request. Installing the WW app does not tell you who processes your payments.

How to cancel a direct WW membership online or in the app
- Open WW's cancellation page and follow its link to cancel or switch membership. Sign in when prompted.
- In the signed-in website or app, use the cancellation option for your subscription. If you cannot locate it, contact WW Customer Service.
- Save the confirmation and ask support to clarify any missing end date or final payment.
WW's membership agreement, section 3B, allows cancellation through the protected website or app and Customer Service. Screen labels can change.
How to cancel WW Clinic or Sequence
Clinical services have a separate Clinic agreement. Section 3B permits cancellation through the signed-in website or app, your Care Team, Customer Service, or hello@joinsequence.com. Request the effective date and confirmation of which subscriptions end.
Check for a separately billed WW or app-store subscription rather than assuming everyone has two memberships to cancel. Billing cancellation does not set your medication plan. Discuss stopping or changing prescribed treatment with your licensed provider.
How to cancel an Apple or Google Play subscription

Open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions. Select the WW subscription and choose Cancel Subscription. Apple says an expiration message or no cancel button means it is already canceled. If WW is missing, check the Apple account on your receipt. Source: Apple Support.
Google Play on Android
In the Google account used for the purchase, open Google Play subscriptions, select WW, tap Cancel subscription, and finish the prompts. Uninstalling the app does not cancel billing. Source: Google Play Help.
If neither platform lists it, check your receipt and statement to identify the billing company. Contact that company for the correct cancellation route.
Commitment periods, final charges, and refunds
According to WW's cancellation page, a standard monthly membership ends at the end of the membership month. Multi-month commitments and prepaid Savings Plans end at the end of the applicable plan period. A request today does not necessarily end charges today.
The WW membership agreement, sections 3B and 4, says WW aims to process requests within 72 hours. Fees are generally owed through the current billing or commitment period, with specified exceptions. If a timely request still results in an unintended renewal charge, contact support; using the service in that next period affects refund eligibility.
The Clinic agreement, section 4, treats the initial consultation fee as nonrefundable after signup. Subscription refunds have listed exceptions. Ask your Care Team how your purchase terms apply.
Keep a clear cancellation record
We recommend saving your request, response, and relevant receipt together. A useful message is:
Please cancel renewal of my [plan name] subscription. Please confirm the date you received this request, the effective end date, any remaining payments, and which memberships it covers. If additional steps are required, please identify them.
Compare later charges with that confirmation. If a charge does not match, give support the date, amount, and request reference. Send sensitive account or health information only through an appropriate secure channel.

Why am I still charged after canceling WeightWatchers?
A cancellation request and its effective date can differ. WW says payments remain due through the current billing or commitment period, subject to the agreement's exceptions. Ask support to confirm the effective date and explain each charge.
