WeightWatchers GLP-1 Review 2026: Med+ Pricing & Terms
This review explains WeightWatchers's published program charges, medication pricing and payment terms so you can compare an actual quote.
Publisher disclosure: Written by Trimi Editorial Team. Trimi competes with WeightWatchers. How much does WeightWatchers Med+ cost?
WeightWatchers advertises Med+ membership at $25 for the first month, then $74 per month on a 12-month plan or $84 per month on a 6-month plan. GLP-1 medication costs are additional. Both offers carry the stated commitment and automatically renew for another matching term.

The official plan comparison distinguishes Core, Core+ and Med+. Med+ is the clinical-care option. Its introductory membership offer has the following payment terms:
| Commitment | First month | Remaining months | Calculated first-term membership total |
|---|---|---|---|
| 12 months | $25 | $74/month | $839 |
| 6 months | $25 | $84/month | $445 |
Calculations: $25 + 11 × $74 = $839, or $25 + 5 × $84 = $445. These are sums of the advertised membership payments across the initial commitment, not medication-inclusive totals or a statement that the entire amount is charged upfront.
The offer renews for another matching 12- or 6-month term at its ongoing monthly rate. Save the terms presented when you enroll, including the cancellation process and any charges remaining if you want to leave before the commitment ends.
What your medication quote needs to cover
The Med+ FAQ says GLP-1 medication is excluded from membership and that the care team helps with insurance coverage. A copay may remain even with coverage. Certain non-GLP-1 medications are included when using its specified mail-order pharmacy; that exception does not make GLP-1 medication included.
Our earlier review described a universal medication-and-membership bundle and made unsupported comparisons about care quality. That framing has been removed. Confirm the medication, pharmacy payment, insurance decision and membership obligation separately before signing up.
Your out-of-pocket total depends on the actual prescription and coverage. A membership price is not a pharmacy quote. If insurance is declined or changes during treatment, ask what alternatives are available and what happens to the remaining membership commitment.
GLP-1 Success and Med+ serve different needs
WeightWatchers describes GLP-1 Success as support for people taking a GLP-1, including those who obtain their prescription elsewhere. Published features include nutrition, activity and medication tracking, recipes, strength-training content and community support. Some professional services may have insurance-related out-of-pocket costs.
Med+ combines access to clinical care with the GLP-1 Success Program and insurance assistance. The provider decides whether a prescription is appropriate. Joining a support program alone is different from receiving clinical evaluation or medication.
If you already have a prescriber, first identify which support features you need. If you need a prescriber, compare the clinical plan and its terms. We have not independently assessed the quality of each consultation or compared clinical outcomes with Trimi.
Is the membership worth it for you?
The useful decision is whether you want the listed care and support features, can use them, and are comfortable with the commitment. Someone who values structured tracking and community may evaluate those features differently from someone who already has support through their own provider.
Compare the total amount you would actually pay, the time covered, care-team access and renewal rules. An introductory fee should not stand in for the ongoing cost. A low price, familiar brand or patient review does not establish which treatment is appropriate for you.
Prescription options also differ. FDA states that compounded drugs are not FDA-approved. An approved medicine and a compounded preparation should not be presented as interchangeable on the strength of a price comparison. Discuss the options with your provider.
How to read Trimi's own billing terms
A complete quote matters for any provider. Trimi's monthly plans are separate from its annual plans. Its published prices include medication if prescribed, provider access, injection supplies and shipping, with no separate membership fee. Prices stay flat across prescribed doses within the selected plan.
| Plan | Compounded semaglutide | Compounded tirzepatide |
|---|---|---|
| Monthly: no multi-month commitment | $175 each month | $235 each month |
| Annual: 12-month commitment | $1,188 once yearly($99/month equivalent) | $1,500 once yearly($125/month equivalent) |
The annual charge is paid upfront, not in monthly installments. Turning off renewal does not automatically end or refund the current commitment. Read Trimi's full pricing and refund conditions, including the conditional six-month money-back policy.
A prepaid plan may suit someone comfortable committing to that term. A monthly plan may suit someone prioritizing a smaller initial payment. Neither price structure establishes that one provider will deliver better clinical outcomes. Compare your actual prescription quote, access to care and exit terms before deciding.
